Welcome to my sewing business Perfectly Purses & Bags by Lisa. I've been sewing for the last seventeen years. I began by sewing dresses for my daughter and curtains for our home. Five years ago, my three sisters and I were all expecting at the same time. I turned my sewing abilities toward making the "perfect" diaper bag. Needless to say, not all of my friends needed a diaper bag but rather a purse or tote bag and I've been sewing them ever since.
I design and sew all the purses that I make. Once in a while my sixteen-year-old daughter will help with some of the process.
What makes my purses special? They are all made one-of-a kind. I never make the same purse or bag twice so no one will ever have the same purse as you! They are all handmade from recycled materials. The fabrics are mostly discontinued samples from home decor stores or remnants I find from tag sales and auctions. Old purses are my source for the handles and hardware like zippers, snaps and feet. As you can see, you really are getting a great GREEN product. For most customers, the best thing of all about my purses is all of the pockets on the inside!
